Adrián Costa is one of the most valued representatives of the Spanish blues.
He takes his first steps in his hometown at age 13 with the band The Red Blues Band. In 1999 he moved to Madrid, together with the harmonica player Marcos Coll, to join the Tonky Blues Band with whose band he would have the opportunity to collaborate with artists such as Buddy Miles (Jimi Hendrix Band of Gypsys) and Mick Taylor (The Rolling Stones). A few years later, Marcos and Adrián decide to form a new group with the name of Los Reyes del K.O. This project will lead to 6 albums and the presence in numerous European festivals.
After a long stay in Berlin, Adrián decides to move to San Francisco Bay where he begins to work with his band Adrián Costa Blues Persuasion and collaborate with artists such as Billy Boy Arnold, Jackie Payne, Kenny ‘Blues Boss’ Wayne, Mark Hummel, Chris Burns or Earl Thomas.
Blues, funk, and soul are some of the most characteristic features of this Compostelan musician, although he does not refuse to mix them with his Latin roots. A guitarist with a powerful voice who cannot conceive of music without dancing.
