When the young Gisele Jackson was a freshman studying at Howard University, she was already on stage in Washington D.C. with her first classical soul band. Before making Brooklyn their home, Gisele toured as ‘Raelette’ with Ray Charles at the height of her career, and from then on she also accompanied legends such as the unmatched Donna Summer or her ‘godfather’ James Brown.

In her career she has toured more than 18 countries in North America, Asia, Europe and Africa. She has performed solo in the main jazz clubs in the USA; she has supported artists such as Tito Puente, Bette Midler, The Commodores, B-52 and a large number of music stars. She has performed at premieres and awards ceremonies in Hollywood and has appeared on the big screen singing in the movie “First Wives Club”. And she was in charge of singing in the presidency act of Bill Clinton.
Billboard magazine elevated her to the category of diva following her great worldwide success, the dance classic “Love Commandments”. The single reached number 3 on Billboard’s dance chart, catapulting Gisele into the olympus of house and dance music. She has also had her moment of glory in the theater, with roles like Effie in “Dream Girls”, Bessie in “Life & Death of Bessie Smith”, Evilene in “The Wiz”, Luttibelle in “Purlie” and Frankie in “Carmen Jones ” And it has reached television, including a worldwide commercial campaign for Johnnie Walker.
